Latin for Looting

Expanding on something from yesterday. I welcome constructive criticism.

The dead brigand has 300 gold pieces.

Praedoni mortuo sunt trecenti aurei.

(Literally, "To the dead brigand are three hundred gold coins.")

For other loot, just fill in the blanks! If the noun in column 2 is marked (f.), change mortuo to mortuae. If the noun in column four is singular, change sunt to est. ( Read more... )

1. Overslept.

2. Missed train. (Not the one that I missed by oversleeping, but the next one.)

3. Waited half hour for bus.

4. Got to work to discover that the computer I had shut down the other day was on, that my screen was full of printer error messages, that the printer software needed to be reinstalled, and that I no longer had an internet connection.

5. Learned that the university has a limited number of IP addresses, and that there's a chance you won't get a new one when you shut your computer down. This is a long-existing problem which has only today affected me for the first time.

6. Still don't have internet access, except on my boss's computer, which is problematic. Will do some catching up here on LJ and so forth at home tonight, when I eventually get there.

7. Spent two hours in the library failing largely to find things I needed to find.

8. Generally zombified, but am contemplating going to a lecture anyway.
